Feigin wrote a poem…

25 Sep Feigin wrote a poem…

Back in 2004 Craig took a poetry class at a local community college to fill the humanities requirement.  One of tasks of the class was to write various types of poems during the semester. At the conclusion of the class, the students had to pick their top 3 poems and send them out to publishers to request to get published.  The reality was that even experienced authors do not get published for years, and often get turned down.  However, Feigin was actually published. The poem can be read here: Therman Merman by Craig Feigin.

“Looking back it’s kind of funny becuase I was genuinely trying to fill in the length requirement for the second half of the meat of the poem,” Craig Feigin says, “You can see I kind of go off subject, but I really didn’t expect to get published, I didn’t even choose the picture they picked for Therman.”
