09 Oct Snapshot of first few minutes of Gabbar Singh after joining a Kolkata-based BPO company as a Senior Supervisor
Gabbar Singh is now a changed person. He no more resides in rocky terrain of Ramanagara with an army of guerrilla fighters. Instead, Gabbar has completed a 4-month training in BPO management from Bangalore, India and joined a Kolkata-based BPO company as a Senior Supervisor. He now monitors a team of web designers, software programmers, outbound callers, content writers, SEO, and logo & banner designing experts among others.
Gabbar Singh brushed himself with British English and American English. It was easier for Gabbar to master American English despite having a Common Wealth connection. The BPO training which Gabbar opted was initially for 3 months. For British English, Gabbar took an additional one-month training (by choice) making calls to UK prospects. Gabbar was struck with politeness of UK citizens.
Gabbar’s past experience matched requirements of a rising Kolkata-based BPO company. The management took note of Gabbar’s past exposures to Ramanagara and thought it would nicely complement his new role in the BPO sector.
Here is a snapshot of first few minutes of Gabbar Singh after joining as Senior Supervisor:
Receptionist to a Content Writer: Sir (Gabbar Singh) has called you.
SEO (sitting beside Content Writer): Go, will give you laurels.
Gabbar Singh: How many visitors came to the website?
Content Writer: Sir, 200.
Gabbar Singh: How many visitors were logged on to WWW?
Content Writer: Sir, 100000008….
Gabbar Singh: Us 200?. Gabbar will give you laurels? Shame on you (धिक्कार है !).
Content Writer: Sir, I targeted the most popular keywords forwarded by SEO.
(Gabbar Singh turns on to Web Designer to remind value of the BPO company.)
Gabbar Singh: What was the rating of our website one month back?
Web Designer: Sir, No.1 in our niche under category of most reported against.
Gabbar Singh: With 200 visitors, you Content Writer and SEO have let the company down. There will be a price that you both two have to pay….
